DrivingDirections.net displays Google AdSense advertising on eligible content pages. Advertising revenue funds hosting, route and geocoding requests, data maintenance, security and the creation of useful reference material while keeping visitor tools available without a fee.
Google AdSense
Ads are selected and delivered by Google and its advertising partners. Ad delivery can involve cookies, similar storage, device and browser information, page context, consent signals and ad interactions as described in the privacy and cookie policies.
Editorial independence
An advertiser cannot alter route calculations, method labels, sources, provider order, correction outcomes, country-guide warnings or publication decisions. Commercial relationships run separately from route and editorial logic.
Placement standards
An advertisement must be clearly recognisable, separated from route controls and must not obscure directions, maps, safety notices or primary content. It must not imitate a button, form control, route result or publisher recommendation.
Pages where ads do not belong
Legal and policy pages, error pages, empty or failed results, incomplete route states and pages withheld by quality controls are not appropriate advertising surfaces. Eligibility is assessed per page, not granted to every generated URL.
Consent and privacy
Where applicable law requires consent, advertising storage and personalisation remain blocked until the visitor makes a choice through the consent interface. That interface provides the available privacy and advertising choices. Google and participating vendors process advertising data under their own published terms and privacy notices.
