Ownership and licensed material

Unless stated otherwise, original text, software, design, page structure and compilations are owned by Domino Services Ltd. or used under licence. Third-party map data, libraries and service results remain subject to their own licences and notices.

How do you submit a copyright notice?

Send a written notice to contact [at] drivingdirections [dot] com. Identify the protected work, the exact URL and material complained of, your contact details, and the basis on which you are authorised to act.

What makes a notice useful?

Explain why you believe the use is unauthorised and provide enough evidence to assess the claim. A signature or confirmation of authority to act may be requested where the applicable notice procedure requires it. Rights holders in different jurisdictions may have different formal requirements; this page does not replace those rules.

Review process

The operator may request clarification, preserve evidence, restrict or remove material, contact the affected contributor or restore material where a claim is incomplete or successfully challenged. Action depends on applicable law and the evidence supplied.

Disputed notices

If material is restricted following a complaint, the affected party may contact the operator with the URL, an explanation and supporting rights information. Any formal counter-notice procedure will depend on the law and service involved; independent legal advice may be appropriate.

Third-party map data

The operator cannot alter an underlying OpenStreetMap or routing-provider database merely because its output appears here. Claims concerning that source data may need to be addressed to the relevant rights holder or service; presentation or original site content can still be reported here.
