DrivingDirections.net does not use an account or saved-journey cookie. Route and calculator values remain in the submitted page or shared URL as described in the privacy policy. A consent choice may be stored so that the site and advertising services can respect it on later visits.
Necessary infrastructure cookies
Cloudflare may set short-lived necessary cookies when it must distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse or present a security challenge. These are controlled by the infrastructure service and are not used by this site for advertising.
Routing and place services
Server-side route and autocomplete requests do not require a provider cookie in the visitor’s browser. The configured provider receives the request from this site and applies its own service-side policies.
Map and external navigation
For routes with usable geometry, map tiles are requested through this site; your browser does not connect directly to the tile provider for those images. Opening Google Maps or Apple Maps creates a direct request to the chosen navigation service, which may use cookies or similar storage under its own policy.
Google Analytics storage
Google Analytics 4 can use cookies to measure visits and distinguish browsers when analytics storage is permitted. Analytics storage is denied by default; consent choices are passed through the configured consent framework where applicable. No route places or calculator values are sent as analytics events. Browser controls may also remove these cookies.
Google AdSense storage
Google AdSense and its advertising partners use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, detect invalid activity and, where the visitor has permitted it, personalise advertising. Advertising cookies can be associated with Google or DoubleClick domains. Their exact names and duration are controlled by Google and participating vendors and can change under their published policies.
