Method

What the estimate means

Liquid fuel: metric mode uses adjusted kilometres × L/100 km; US mode uses adjusted miles ÷ US MPG. Cost uses your price per litre or US gallon.

Electric: energy uses adjusted distance × kWh per 100 km or 100 mi. Optional charging loss increases billed kWh before applying your price per kWh.

Results are planning estimates rounded for display. Actual consumption can change with traffic, speed, temperature, heating or cooling, load, terrain, tyre pressure and vehicle condition. Currency conversion, tolls, parking and non-driving costs are not included.
